About us
Wuh & Dird began with a simple feeling — the joy of seeing children look beautifully put together when they step out. As a mother, I always loved that spark of elegance in childhood: soft fabrics, a refined silhouette, a look that feels special without ever feeling loud. And along with that, I was always deeply aware of what my daughter was feeling inside the garment — what touched her skin, whether it was warm enough, breathable enough and comfortable enough to move with her. But finding clothes like that wasn’t easy. Most choices were either covered in kiddie prints, made from basic co-ord patterns that looked more like home wear than something meant for stepping out, or they simply didn’t feel right for the weather. There was nothing that balanced comfort, elegance and modern style the way I imagined for her.
So I created Wuh & Dird — a luxury kidswear brand designed for parents who choose thoughtfully. Parents who love seeing their children look classy, elegant and beautifully put together, not trend-driven. Parents who want their children to feel comfortable and confident, because when your child feels confident, you as a parent feel confident too.
At Wuh & Dird, we work with premium global fabrics chosen especially for Indian weather. And because our climate shifts constantly, every piece is designed with your full weather cycle in mind — not just a single season. Light layers, soft linings, cosy touches and breathable materials come together to create a range that adapts beautifully to India’s many small changes in temperature. Every garment is part of a thoughtful system, crafted for comfort throughout the year. While our silhouettes are refined and evergreen, the magic lies in the inside. Soft linings, gentle facings, concealed seams and intentionally crafted finishing make the clothes feel luxurious the moment you touch them. These quiet details matter — because what touches your child’s skin matters most.
We design for the age when little ones begin to explore the world on their own feet — the age when silhouettes truly come alive. When the cut of a coat, the shape of a sleeve or the fall of a knit becomes visible in movement. Clothing at this stage should support their freedom, highlight their growing personality and make everyday moments feel just a bit more special. And as we grow, so will our sizes. Our name comes from my daughter’s first words — “Wuh-Wuh” for dog and “Dird” for bird — two sounds filled with innocence, joy and wonder. Today, that same spirit inspires everything we create.
Wuh & Dird is our way of bringing modern elegance to childhood — beautiful clothes, thoughtful fabrics, soulful details, and a little luxury, sized small.
